The mission of the Brownfield Program at the New Orleans Regional Planning Commission is to support brownfield redevelopment projects which are environmentally responsible, utilize exiting infrastructure within our cities and towns, and provide tangible benefits to the surrounding community.

Through funding from the Environmental Protection Agency, the RPC Brownfield Program provides technical support, brownfield assessments, cleanup planning, and more across Jefferson, Orleans, Plaquemines, St. Bernard, St. Charles, St. John the Baptist, St. Tammany, and Tangipahoa Parishes.
Do you have a project in mind that might be a good fit for brownfield funding? Want to apply for a grant, but don’t know where to start? Or do you just want to learn more about brownfields? Please feel free to contact me at any time.
